Today, I would like to introduce you to the review of the 3 nights and 4 days spent at the Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott Hall last June. Shinhwa World is one of the hotels that was recently built in Jeju Island. And in the case of Marriott Hall, you can stay at about 200,000 won per night on a deluxe basis.



Shinhwa World is composed of various types of accommodations such as Shinhwagwan, Landing Hall, Somerset, as well as Marriott Hall. Somerset is in the form of a detached villa, and the other three (New Hwagwan, Landing Hall, and Marriott Hall) are in the form of a hotel. The price range is in the order of Marriott (Mosil Swimming Pool)>Shinhwa Pavilion (Skypool, Shinhwa Water Park)> Landing Pavilion (No Swimming Pool), and Marriott Pavilion is the highest grade. Among them, I would like to introduce Marriott Hall in this article.

1. Check-in and surroundings of Shinhwa World Marriott Hall

The Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott Hall is located in the red-olored section. And although hidden by the list on the right, the parking lot closest to the Marriott Hall is located on the right side based on the center of the Marriott Hall. If you search for the parking lot of Shinhwa World Marriott Hall, you can park closest.

 

This is the lobby you can meet when you enter the Shinhwa World Marriott Hall. It was taken again on a nice day, and if you go downstairs, you can meet the shopping mall, and if you go further down than that, you can meet the casino. For your information, casinos are not allowed for Koreans and can be used exclusively for foreigners.

 

The main space taken after coming back from going out is still beautiful in the evening.

 

This is the space where the casino is located on the second basement floor that I mentioned earlier. The ergonomically designed chair was also sublimated into a design, and I thought I cared a lot because it was pretty to look at.

 

I looked around. It looked very far on the map, but based on the Marriott Hall, I was able to get to the Shinhwa Theme Park in Shinhwa World more quickly than I thought. It was within about 10 minutes of walking, and it was enough to go. If you look at the floor map, it is translated into four languages: English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, so it feels like a place where foreigners can stay comfortably even when they visit.

 

 

The place you see right in front of you is the main space of the Marriott Hall that I showed you in the picture. In addition, the outer space and the inner space are naturally formed in the form of a sunken. If you go down the stairs below, you will find rest areas everywhere, and shopping malls will be located inside both rooms.

 

 

Near the landing hall, the only convenience store in Jeju Shinhwa World is GS Convenience Store, where Jeju beer and snacks have been purchased. There are fewer types of products sold than you think, so if you need anything, I recommend you buy it from outside. At the check-in, I also received a ticket to the Shinhwa World theme park BIG3, but I couldn't use it because there were too many things to play outside besides Shinhwa World.

 

 

2. SHINHWA World Marriott Hall Room Condition

The place where I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days is Shinhwa World Marriott Deluxe Twin. In addition to the Marriott Hall in Shinhwa World, the interior design of the Shinhwa Hall and the landing hall is very similar. Personally, the room with wooden floors rather than carpets felt more neat. Also, the bedding was fluffy, so I could sleep well.

Check-in time is available from 15:00, and check-out is until 12:00.

 

Unfortunately, our room was not a pool view, but a parking lot view. I couldn't get a good view because I checked in late. The view was the only one that was disappointing. Construction is currently underway right next to the parking lot. The sound of construction didn't bother me much because I came back to my accommodation every night after going out. Mosil pool view has a terrace, but parking lot view does not have a terrace. It was a bit disappointing that there was no terrace.

 

 

One of the things I really liked was the bathroom. The bathroom was separated from the bathtub, shower, toilet and sink. Among them, I liked the fact that there was a mini bath in the shower room. It was good for relieving fatigue because I could watch TV in a mini bath and take a lower-body bath. Personally, it would have been better if I had brought a bath bomb. Disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste were also provided, and shampoo, treatment, and body shampoo were provided as large-capacity dispenser containers.

 

 

 

Room amenities include a free minibar once per stay, free coffee, tea bags and two bottles of bottled water. And it also features free Wi-Fi for each room. The free minibar was served with two small cans of beer, one can of coke and one snack, and four capsule coffees, including decaf.

 

 

 

In addition, there is a large closet in front of the left entrance, that is, the bathroom, as you can see in the picture. There are iron, ironing board, and show robe in the closet. The show robe was perfect to wear on the outside when going to the swimming pool.

 

 

 

 

2. SHINHWA World Marriott Breakfast.

Shinhwa World Marriott Breakfast uses Sky On Five Dining Restaurant. Located on the 5th floor of the Marriott Hall, I was able to have breakfast cheaply through the 1+1 coupon I received while checking in for 3 nights and 4 days.

Breakfast is 55,000 won for adults and 35,000 won for children. Breakfast is open from 7:00 to 11:00.

 

You don't have to apply for breakfast when making a reservation, you can visit Sky On Five Dining Restaurant and pay right away with a 1+1 breakfast coupon. When I visited around 8, there were not as many people as I thought.

 

The breakfast area is located at the top of the main location of the Marriott Hall, so you can enjoy the view while eating breakfast. The day we visited was unfortunate because it was cloudy, but it was still good.

 

Personally, the breakfast at Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott was delicious, and the advantage is that Korean and Western dishes are served well. The dessert types were perfectly organized. At 8 o'clock when we visited, we could enjoy breakfast leisurely, but after a while, a lot of people gathered. For those who want to eat leisurely, I recommend visiting early. 

 

I'm so satisfied with my friend's visit this time, so I'm planning to visit with my family next time.

 

 

 

3. Shinhwa World Marriott Hall Mosil Swimming Pool

It is a mosil swimming pool operated for guests staying at Marriott Hall.

The swimming pool consists of indoor and outdoor areas, and both places can be entered through the clubhouse.
The swimming pool is open from 09:00 to 21:00 in the indoor swimming pool and 10:00 to 19:00 in the outdoor swimming pool, and is located on the first floor of the Marriott Hall.

 

We took pictures of the pool every time we used the elevator because it wasn't a pool view. During my stay for 3 nights and 4 days, I used the Mosil swimming pool twice. It is a dedicated facility for customers who use Marriott Hall (guests at other resorts incur separate admission fees), and can be used once a day during the stay. Before using the swimming pool, you can enter quickly by registering the user information in advance through the QR code in the check-in notice.

 

 

Fortunately, wearing a swimming cap was not essential when using the pool. However, children under the age of 12 must wear life jackets that they already have. We, adults, also wore the largest life jacket, and we cannot wear it in a normal hotel swimming pool, but I think we had fun swimming here floating in the water thanks to the life jacket.


And both indoors and outdoors, the safety asks for a break every hour. During indoor breaks, all users should move to the outdoor swimming pool. It was June, but it was a hot water pool, so it was a good temperature to use. However, when the sun rose, the sunlight was a little burdensome, but because indoor and outdoor were connected in the water, I was able to swim naturally to and from the outside without having to go out of the water.

 

Arrangement

People who have frequently searched Shinhwa World may know, but Shinhwa World sometimes holds 2+1 events or promotional events. I was also lucky to go to Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott Hall at a low price of 458,700 won for three nights by applying the 2+1 event price.

If you search frequently, advertisements related to Shinhwa World appear, so I recommend you to go to the event in time when opening. And I recommend you buy it on the official website because it is promoted more often than other sites.
